Vor kurzem stand ich vor dem Problem, meine Handydaten mit Windows Vistas Boardsoftware zu synchronisieren. Weil das ganz und gar nicht trivial ist, möchte ich euch mit diesem Beitrag meine Erfahrungen dazu schildern.
Zunächst einmal habe ich versucht, direkt aus dem Windows Kalender meine Handydaten zu importieren. Hätte ich auch gemacht, wenn es eine Option gegeben hätte. Die gleiche Ernüchterung erlebte ich im Windows Adressbuch, weswegen ich mich gleich schon mal auf eine längere Zeit des Googlens und Rumprobierens von Software einstellte.
So rief ich meine Standardsuchmaschine Google auf und machte mich daran, es mit verschiedenen Keywords auszuprobieren. Mein Handy ist ja ein Sony Ericsson k750i deswegen versuchte ich es mit folgenden Phrasen: »vista kalender sony ericsson«, »vista kalender handy importieren« und stieß auf mehrere Forenbeiträge, in denen andere Leute ebenfalls das Problem hatten. Letzenendes kam ich dann aber über einen Link im handykult.de-Forum auf die Software “Mobile Master“. Und die hat es in sich. Nach kurzem Studieren der Features googelte ich nach dem Programm um sicher zu gehen, dass das wirklcih keine Malware ist, die einfach mit großen Versprechungen kommt, bei der es aber böse Konsequenzen hat, wenn man sie installiert. Aber nein, nichts dergleichen. Also lud ich mir die neuste Version 2.4 runter, die übrigens eine Dateigröße von 15,8MB besitzt. Mit meiner DSL2000-Leitung dauerte es also nur wenige Minuten, bis ich mit dem Installieren beginnen konnte.
Das Installieren bereitete auch keine wirklichen Probleme – die fingen danach an – mit dem Einrichten des Programms. Es wollte mir erst einfach nicht gelingen, die Treiber für mein Handy einzuspielen, ohne die nunmal keine Hardware am PC läuft. Ich downloadete zunächst das mit “USB-Drivers” beschriftete Zip-Archiv von der Sony Ericsson-Homepage und versuchte sie über den Gerätemanager einzuspielen (das Handy hatte ich zu dem Zeitpunkt bereits per USB-Kabel angesteckt). Das funktionierte aber nicht so richtig und auch der Mobile Master hatte keine Lust, mit den halbherzig eingespielten Treibern mein k750i zu erkennen. Da ich in solchen Situationen aber bekanntlich nicht gleich den Kopf in den Sand stecke, probierte ich es mit der riesigen (44MB) All-in-One PC-Suite von Sony Ericsson. Nach der langen Installation erkannte der Mobile Master mein Handy auch endlich und ich konnte zu meinen Dingen fortfahren, die ich wirklich vor hatte.
Doch – oh Überraschung – das Programm konnte ja viel mehr, als ich brauchte! Man kann damit nicht nur seine Kontakte und sein Adressbuch mit dem Windows-Kontaktprogramm un den Kalender mit dem Windows-eigenen synchronisieren. Nein, man kann seine SMS auslesen, seine Einstellungen ansehen, die definierten “Aufgaben” und “Notizen” ansehen und auf den PC übertragen und hat direkt Explorer-artig Zugriff auf den Telefonspeicher. Nicht schlecht Herr Specht würd ich mal meinen. Außerdem ist das Programm total leicht zu bedienen, sodass auch DAUs damit zurecht kommen sollten.
Fazit: Ich kann eine absolute Empfehlung dafür aussprechen. Es sollte wirklich mehr solcher intuitiver und äußerst durchdachter Software geben, wenn man irgendwas auf dem Herzen hat, was man an Daten von seinem Handy auslesen will, schafft das der Mobile Master, der seinem Namen wirklich alle Ehre macht. Leider ist die Free Version auf 30 Tage beschränkt und kann nur 20 Kontakte auslesen, doch für viele sind die knapp 10€, die man für die “Light”-Version hinblättern muss, durchaus gut angelegt.
